Mike McArthur is the founder of The McArthur Group. He is also a lawyer and partner in the firm of Cline, Backus, Nightingale and McArthur LLP. Mike has a broadly based law practice encompassing sports, litigation and business. He is certified by the NHLPA as a Player Agent since 1997 and represents professional players, including recent and upcoming NHL Drafted players.

Mike is committed to providing excellent representation from establishing the basis for draft selection, right through to contract negotiations under the new CBA, as well as promotional and endorsement opportunities. Mike gives individual attention to every client and is easily accessible and open to talk to at any time. He is straightforward and progressive and not afraid to tactfully take on the difficult case in courts or arbitrations to advance a client's rights or legitimate interests.

Mike also teaches for the Law Society of Upper Canada as well as being a guest lecturer at universities.
