Mike McArthur founded The Hockey Group. He is a lawyer and partner in the firm of Cline, Backus, Nightingale and McArthur LLP and has a broadly based law practice encompassing sports, litigation and business matters. He is certified by the NHLPA as a Player Agent since 1997.

Mike navigates the draft selection and try-out processes through to contract negotiations under the new CBA as well as promotional and endorsement opportunities. He is straightforward and progressive and not afraid to tactfully take on the difficult case in courts or arbitrations to advance a client’s rights or legitimate interests.
